Getting to Liberec

  • Plain:

An international airport at Prague and use train and/or bus to arrive to Liberec. We recommend to take a bus to get to metro and then from the metro station "Cerny most" take a bus to Liberec. Use application IDOS to search for public transport connection from “Letiště Václava Havla (Terminál 1)” to “Liberec Fügnerova”. “Liberec Fügnerova” is the central bus and tram station in the center of Liberec.

  • Train and/or bus:

The main Middle European cities are connected by the trains or busses with Liberec. At IDOS search for possibilities and details of the connection.

  • Car:

Rent a car is very comfortable, cheap and save possibility to get around Czech. Liberec lays on the speed way number E442 connecting German border with Prague through E65 (D10). Driving from Prague to Liberec takes usually less than hour (depends on traffic).

For more info about Liberec go to:

The usual tip in restaurant is less than 10%, if the service was good, more than 10% if the service was excellent (giving no tip is rude, it is used only if you are really disappointed with the service). Round the sum in bill accordingly. When paying by card, it is usual to give the small change directly to waiter as a tip. No tips are required/expected in shops, hotels, room services (maid) or on guided tours.
